Single-patient assays at the point-of-care
The NALIA single-patient point-of-care device requires only a pin-prick of blood for use in doctors' offices and clinics, expediting patient diagnosis without increasing healthcare costs.

NALIA is developing products for use in diagnosis and monitoring in several major disease areas, including:
- Allergies
- Autoimmune diseases (including Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis)
- Infectious diseases
- Oncology
NALIA proprietary Array technology has two advantages that previously prevented ELISA-type assays from being performed at the point-of-care:
Lab in a cartridge – Unlike standard ELISAs, which require multiple pipetting steps, NALIA technology can be transferred into a small, automated cartridge.
Rapid results – Results can be obtained in less than 20 minutes (standard ELISAs require 1.5-2 hours) and this time will be further shortened in a next-generation system.
