NALIA Systems announces the successful completion of the feasibility study funded by an Horizon2020 SME Instrument award. This project demonstrated the feasibility of reducing the time required to process the company’s multiplex biomarker array panels to below 20 minutes. This compares with the 1-5-2hours required to process traditional ELISA tests, which also only measure one marker at a time. The short assay time and multi-marker capability can enable NALIA biomarker panels to vastly increase productivity in laboratories, as well as substantially reducing the amount of sample material required. Furthermore, the rapid test time make the technology appropriate for many applications for point-of-care testing in a doctor’s office or local clinic.
